Welcome To OPHRA The Oklahoma Public Human Resources Association (OPHRA), is the Oklahoma Chapter of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), and a member of the IPMA-HR Southern Region. OPHRA serves the needs of the public sector human resources management professionals by providing essential and comprehensive resources. In addition, OPHRA is committed to advancing the human resources profession and the capabilities of all human resources professionals to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in the management and development of public sector employees. The Oklahoma Public Human Resources Association (OPHRA) is a professional association devoted to training, developing and promoting public sector human resources management professionals within Oklahoma. The Association's mission is to serve the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available. Members are comprised of individuals from state, county, and municipal government, as well as employment law professionals. OPHRA is affiliated with the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR). Through this affiliation, OPHRA offers its members an opportunity to share information and resources, gain technical training and expertise, and access to information regarding local, state and national issues and trends related to Human Resources Management and Labor Relations. OPPA OPPA was founded in 1976 and extends membership to personnel professionals from all levels of the public sector including federal, state, county, and municipal governments, as well as school districts. The Association exists to provide a forum to discuss current human resources issues and to furnish a medium for professional growth and development of public personnel professionals. A primary strength of the organization lies in the shared expertise and experience of its members, providing access to the most current professional and technical advancements in the field. We seek opportunities to provide input on legislative matters and to analyze and review personnel management issues, as well as to encourage and facilitate cooperative action with private sector personnel professionals.
